Standard threaded thermowell or flanged thermowell provides complete protection for the sensor (Temperature, Pressure etc) elements. They are designed considering optimum pressure, temperature, critical Frequency, the nature of Media (abrasive, corrosive, etc), and intensity of flow of media. Flanged thermowell allows removing or replacing of sensing instruments without draining or shutting down of the process and are available in the following types :

• Threaded thermowell drilled from bar stock or built in
• Flanged Thermowell drilled from bar stock and welded flange
• Flanged thermowell drilled from bar stock and in one piece
• Teflon coated thermowell

Explosion Proof Fized Element RTD's are for use for eliminating the potential for ignition of ammable mixtures in the surrounding atmosphere. They may be installed directly in the process withour being inserted into a thermowell. The assemblies feature 316 stainless steel sheaths in various diameter sizes. They are available with or without process mountings and with aluminium or stainless steel explosion proof connection heads.
